Baudemund of Saint-Amand

Baudemund was a monk of Saint-Amand (Elnone) in Flanders, presented in his work as a disciple of Saint Amandus; he is credited with having written down the saint’s testament for the abbot Philippus. His Life of Saint Amandus is the earliest account of the apostle of Flanders, though scholars date its composition to the first half of the eighth century.
