Berengaudus

Berengaudus was a Benedictine monk of the Carolingian age, probably of the abbey of Ferrières, remembered for an exposition of the Apocalypse written in the ninth century. His commentary, reading Revelation as the church’s own history, is among the earliest medieval expositions of the book in the Latin West.
