The Office of Saint Triduana

The Canon of Aberdeen is the anonymous author of the offices for the Scottish saints preserved in the Aberdeen Breviary of 1507 — the liturgical lessons for Kentigern, Ninian, Machar, Duthac, Monan and dozens of other saints of Alba. Drawing on older lives now largely lost, his offices are the chief surviving source for many of the local saints of medieval Scotland.
