Churchman of Tain
The Churchman of Tain is the anonymous author of the Acts of Saint Duthac, bishop of Ross, patron of the great pilgrimage church of Tain. Written in the thirteenth or fourteenth century, it preserves the traditions of the saint in whose honour James IV made his famous penitential pilgrimages.
