The Churchman of Würzburg is the anonymous author of the Life of Saint Burchard, the Anglo-Saxon missionary who became first bishop of Würzburg under Saint Boniface. Written around the turn of the millennium, it preserves the traditions of the eighth-century apostle of Franconia.
