Council of Carthage (411AD)

The Council of Carthage of 411 was the great conference convoked by the emperor Honorius to end the Donatist schism, at which the Catholic bishops under Augustine’s leadership confuted their opponents. Its acts and collations remain the fullest record of an ancient church debate.
