Domhnall Ó Duibhdábhoirenn

Domhnall Ó Duibhdábhoirenn was head of the Ó Duibhdábhoirenn (O’Davoren) family of Brehon jurists, who kept a law school at Cahermacnaghten in the Burren of County Clare. In the 1560s he supervised the compilation of the codex now called Egerton 88, gathering the family’s legal texts and the etymological law glossary that bears his name.
