Eustathius of Antioch
Eustathius of Antioch was a fourth-century bishop of Antioch, a leading defender of Nicaea deposed and exiled by the Arian party. His surviving works - including the discourse on the Witch of Endor and fragments on the text ‘The Lord created me’ - show the exegetical mind of the Nicene generation’s boldest controversialist.
