Eutychius of Constantinople
Eutychius of Constantinople was a sixth-century patriarch of Constantinople, twice enthroned and twice deposed amid the quarrels of Justinian’s last years. Remembered as a defender of Chalcedon against the Aphthartodocetists, his troubled pontificate prepared the way for Gregory the Great’s diplomacy.
