Haimo of Auxerre

Haimo of Auxerre was a ninth-century monk and master of the abbey school of Saint-Germain at Auxerre, the most prolific biblical commentator of the Carolingian age. His expositions of nearly every book of Scripture, written for the training of clergy, fed the medieval tradition for centuries.
