Marcellinus is the traditional name attached to the author of the Life of Saint Suitbert, the Anglo-Saxon apostle of the Frisians who died at Kaiserswerth. The text presents its author as an English priest and companion of the saint writing for Bishop Gregory of Utrecht, but the Bollandists showed it to be a much later composition.
