The Clonfert Monk is the anonymous author of the Second Latin Life of Saint Brendan, abbot of Clonfert, a tenth- or eleventh-century text of the saint’s own monastery. His account supplements the earlier life and the Voyage with the traditions of Brendan’s Kerry home.
