Monk of Connacht

The Monk of Connacht is the anonymous author of the Voyage of the Uí Chorra, the immram in which three outlaw brothers of Connacht, having destroyed churches and repented, are sent by Saint Comall of Caonraad to wander the ocean until they have rebuilt what they ruined. Written in the twelfth century, it is one of the finest of the Irish voyage-tales.
