The Monk of Killaloe is the anonymous author of the Life of Saint Flannan, patron of the diocese of Killaloe, son of the Dalcassian king Turlough and blessed by Molua. Written in the twelfth or thirteenth century, it preserves the traditions of the saint of the lower Shannon.
