Monk of Leuconay

The Monk of Leuconay is the anonymous author of the Life of Saint Walaric (Valéry), the seventh-century founder of Leuconay (Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme) at the mouth of the Somme, companion of the monks of Luxeuil. Written in the eighth century, it preserves the traditions of the apostle of the Vimeu and the Somme country.
