Monk of Rebais

The Monk of Rebais is the anonymous author of the Life of Saint Agilus (Ayeul), the first abbot of Rebais in Brie, who had been a monk of Luxeuil and whose tomb became a pilgrimage shrine. Written in the seventh century, it is one of the earliest lives of the Columbanian monastic tradition.
