Monk of Remiremont

The Monk of Remiremont is the anonymous author of the Lives of Saints Amatus, Romaric and Adelphius, the founding abbots of Habendum (Remiremont) in the Vosges. Written in the seventh century, they preserve the traditions of one of the great double monasteries of the Columbanian world, later a famous noble women’s house.
