The Monk of Sithiu is the anonymous author of the Lives of Saints Audomarus (Omer), Bertin and Winnoc — the missionary saints of the monastery of Sithiu (Saint-Omer) in the Pas-de-Calais. Written in the eighth century, they preserve the traditions of the founders of one of the great abbeys of Merovingian Flanders.
