The Monk of St Méen is the anonymous author of the account of Saint Majanus or Mevennus, the Welsh saint who followed Saint Judicaël to Brittany and founded the abbey of Saint-Méen in the diocese of Vannes. Written in the eleventh century, it preserves the traditions of one of the chief saints of eastern Brittany.
