Moses the Black
Moses the Black, also called Moses the Ethiopian, was a fourth-century former robber who became a monk of Scetis and one of the most beloved of the desert fathers. His sayings on not judging others and his martyrdom at the hands of raiders made him the model of the converted sinner.
