Nun of Laon

The Nun of Laon is the anonymous author of the Life of Saint Sadalberga, the seventh-century founder of the convent of Saint John at Laon, written by one of the sisters of her own community. Written in the eighth century, it preserves the traditions of a founder remembered for her prophetic spirit and for having trained her five children in religion.
