Peter Olivi
Peter Olivi was a thirteenth-century French Franciscan, master of theology and the most original - and most troubled - thinker of the Spiritual Franciscans. His commentary on the Apocalypse, his writings on poverty and his philosophy of the will made him the father of a movement that ended in condemnation and enduring influence.
