Philastrius of Brescia
Philastrius of Brescia was a fourth-century bishop of Brescia remembered for the Book of Heresies, a catalogue of one hundred and fifty-six errors from the fall of the angels to his own day. His work, drawing on Hippolytus, is among the earliest heresiologies of the Latin church.
