Pseudo-Ambrose is the name given to the unknown authors of Latin sermons and treatises once attributed to Ambrose of Milan. The corpus - sermons on the contest of vices and virtues, on prayer and on the Trinity - gathered the anonymous preaching of the centuries after the great doctor under his borrowed authority.
