Pseudo-Moses is the name given to the anonymous author of the Book of Jubilees, the retelling of Genesis and early Exodus written by a Jewish teacher in the second century before Christ. Preserved in full only in Ge’ez, the work rearranged the biblical story into jubilees of years and was treasured by the early Christians who quoted it.
