Remigius of Rheims
Remigius of Rheims, called Remi, was the fifth- and sixth-century bishop of Rheims who baptised Clovis and the Franks on Christmas Day 496. Remembered as the apostle of the Frankish nation, his cathedral kept his memory and the holy ampulla used at the coronations of the kings of France.
