Ruben of Dairinis was an Irish scholar of the island monastery of Dairinis in Cork Harbour who died in 725. With Cú Chuimne of Iona he compiled the Collectio Canonum Hibernensis, the Irish collection of canons — the great digest of Scripture, the fathers and councils that governed the discipline of the early Irish church and circulated widely on the continent.
