Theodore of St Gall

Theodore of St Gall is the name attached to the author of the Life of Saint Magnus of Füssen and of additions to the Life of Saint Gall. He presents himself as a monk of Kempten and a disciple-eyewitness of Saint Magnus, companion of Saint Gall; modern scholarship treats the attribution as pseudepigraphal and the Life as a ninth-century compilation.
