Theodoric of St Trond was a monk of the abbey of Sint-Truiden in Brabant to whom the Life and Passion of Saint Rumold, the Irish apostle of Mechelen, is ascribed. The name may belong to the abbot Theodoric who died in 1107, though the manuscript tradition places this writing in the later twelfth century under Abbot Rodulf.
