Thietland of Einsiedeln
Thietland of Einsiedeln was a tenth- and eleventh-century monk of Einsiedeln, remembered for a commentary on Paul’s epistles written for the formation of his brethren. His work survives as a monument of the early medieval exegesis of the Swiss cloisters.
