Verecundus of Junca
Verecundus of Junca was a sixth-century bishop of Junca in North Africa, exiled to Constantinople in the Vandal troubles, remembered for his commentary on the canticles of the Old Testament and for the poem On Satisfaction and Penance. His works, written in exile, joined exegesis to the penitential piety of the African church.
