Welsh Churchman

The Welsh Churchman is the anonymous author of the early Welsh canons and the synodical documents of the Cambrian church — the Penitential, the ‘Excerpts from a book of David’, and the synods of the Grove of Victory and of North Britain. Written in the sixth and seventh centuries, they are the earliest legislation of the British church.
