The Heavenly Banquet

·146 words·1 min

1 I would like
a great feast for the King of kings;
the company of Heaven
drinking it through eternal life.

2 I would like
an offering of faith, pure devotion;
I would like
a resting of wings at my family.

3 I would like
the men of Heaven in my own house;
I would like
vats of peace according to their will.

4 I would like
vessels of charity to dispense;
I would like
a goblet of mercy for their love.

5 I would like
generosity to be in its fullness;
I would like
Jesus indeed to be here below.

6 I would like
the three Marys, renowned in their fame;
I would like
the company of Heaven for all good.

7 I would like
to be a rent-payer to the Lord;
if tribulation is a concern,
may He bestow a good blessing on it.
